Assignments

Assignment #1
The top design is a symbol for a money tree, I came up with it because it looks like a logo that no one ever used before, a money logo plus a tree which can be used for special occasions where  an individual might want money instead of gifts. The second design on the left is an iPhone 6, I put a caution sign on it because the iPhone 6 is known to bend so i created it to caution people from buying it. My third logo is a trophy with a star around it. I guess you can say that the star represents the individual with the trophy as well being a team effort.

Assignment #2 (Geometric Self-Portrait)

In the beginning of this project, I struggled really hard because I started getting confused with the instructions. As the more I struggled, the more I learned how to use illustrator and I finally figured out the way to finish my self portrait. My favorite part of this project was finally understanding what to do and finishing it. I wish I could of actually figured out how work Illustrator earlier so I can have faster a way to finishing this project instead of struggling on it for a few days.

                                          Assignment #3 ( Fantasy Creature Level 2)

This is my Assignment #3, this is a picture of Dwayne Johnson, a buff normal man in the day with a pistol, but at night, when the lights shine bright upon him, he turns into a flying red angel with wings that can patrol the night sky. As you can see, the shadows of his wings and his body on the wall with the shadow of his feet on the floor. My favorite part was putting together this project because I had so much ideas, it was fun and I like how my picture turned out.

Artist Statement:
1. Why did you pick this book? It was a plain book with an extremely good title, it was titled "Final Judgement" and it had no cover

2. Tell me about your work: Favorite part and least favorite part
My favorite part was the front cover, I had ideas and I knew what I was going to do but my least favorite part was the back cover, my brain was dead, I couldn't come up with any ideas, and what to put on the back

3. What would you do differently next time?
I would find a different color scheme to use for my book

4. Did you have any challenges? What did you learn?
The challenges I had was figuring out what to put on the back cover and the sides. I learned that the front cover is extremely easier to make than everything else.
